Yes, well, a mile in her shoes and all that...
If you post a link to pictures of the gown itself we can help you
in your choice of shoes. When you get your shoes don't forget to
wear them around the house (or use some sandpaper) to scuff uf
the soles a little. The soles of dressy shoes can be very slick.
Don't forget to shave your legs too, yes the gown will probably
be long enough to cover them but you should do it for the "full
experience" Better yet, get the lovely and talented Mrs. Userb3
to wax them for you.
Will you be wearing makeup? you can check out bridal mags for
makeup advice and for what style of makeup is in right now. I
personally am fond of the more dramatic bridal makeups: red lips,
winged black liquid eyeliner and false eyelashes. It's a brides
day to play princess so drama is OK.
But more good accessories for a bridal couple are honor
attendants.. Maybe you could convince another couple to serve as
your best man and maid of honor

Makeup, it takes believing in. Like a magic carpet, it's
belief that makes it fly. Otherwise, it's just a rug. If
you believe in it, makeup has a magic all it's own. Of
course, makeup is only dimestore magic. But it works well
enough, when it's used properly.", the makeup artist, from

the same name.
