The booking is basically brokered by mutual agreement ( or after a
final negotiation ) stewarded by a booking offer, where an electronic
contract is consummated. The Third and final electronic signature that
binds the counter parties is from ModelsUnlimited.net. Actually I
believe we are the first to have Electronic Contracts in any industry,
where in Institutional banking and the exchanges, it goes via clearing
firms.
The Agents Desk is made up of a Project Manager, Account Management
System, and a Search Engine. The Agents Desk can support any number of
Projects, with any number of resources ( Models ) where each project
is managed as a separate component of the the projects portfolio that
the Agent can have.
In order to book Models, the Agents desk user must first create a
project. This includes a definition, summary, and statement of
policies regarding travel, meals and boarding for the models. This
then allows the agent to use the search engine that is then tied to a
session for this project only. There can be many models which come up
under the search. When Models are selected based on many criterion,
the personal portfolio ( including photos, and resume ) can be
accessed, their login ID is assigned for the Project Role as defined
in the project – ( Runway, print, Acting, Billboard etc ). Once their
record is entered into the Project's Portfolio, the model is notified
via email of the booking offer, and the record in the project
portfolio incorporates an Icon of 'Notification Sent'. This status is
allowed up to for 24 Hours or is changed by the model responding to
the booking offer.
The Model's email provides a summary of the notification, and the The
Model's Career Desk has a Message Center ( with Icons as well ) that
when clicked bring up to booking offer in detail. The Model can either
accept, post a negotiate with a different booking rate, or decline on
the offer. In Parallel, Both Parties have what is called a Message Pad
for free form communication but which is also tied to the project
number. The Message Pad enables email to be transversed between the
buyer and seller via ModelsUnlimited.net, where neither counter party
need disclose their actual email address, nor contact information,
until they decide to, to the other counter party.

Upon an actual accept by the model in the Message Center for the
booking offer an Electronic Contract is then generated, and a Icon
Link to it is available to both counter parties for their confirm of
its details. The Model Must Confirm first, then the 'Agent' and then
this causes the notification for confirm to ModelsUnlimted.net. The
confirmation can be performed either within the Booking Offer /
Contract within their desk, or the copy which is in their email.
Via the Career Desk the Model can invoice ( using their invoice
manager ) pursuant to the contracts terms and conditions, and the
Accounting System for the project , and Agents Account reflects the
debits when approved by the agent for the related invoices. Hence:
where ever the site or location may be, via Laptop both parties can
manage their side of the engagement.
The Contract itself is quite extensive as to protect the interest and
good intent of both counter parties, and that of ModelsUnlimited.net.
