Hi everyone
Just a quick query for those of you with Make Up Forever Face & Body
liquid makeup: I threw away the box it came in (well, recycled to be
more accurate!), and was wondering if "titanium dioxide" was listed
among the ingredients. I've been using it daily and have recently
broken out... I can't pinpoint what's causing me to break out, as I
haven't changed any other element in my skin care routine.
I recently had to give up L'Oreal's Ideal Balance foundation for the
same reason; it was a shame since I absolutely loved it!
Thanks,
In a word: Possibly.
Sephora sells MUFE and lists the Ingredients as follows:
Ivory 2: Water, Mineral Oil, Sorbitan Sesquioleate,
Cyclopentasiloxane, Phenoxyethanol, Acrylates/C1030 Alkyl Acrylate
Crosspolymer, Triethanolamine, Magnesium Myristate, Tetrasodium EDTA,
Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Fragrance. May Contain: Titanium
Dioxide, Iron Oxides
You also might try looking at the Sage (zerozits.com) ingredients
chart to check for baddies.
The 2 most recent reviews in Productville on Makeupalley.com blame the
MUFE Face & Body foundation for breakouts. That said, the rest of the
reviewers over 2 years didn't mention breakouts from it, but it didn't
look like anyone came back to do followups so who knows how they fared
long term.
HTH,
Megan
