Nailtiques (Formula #2) is great for dry, brittle nails.

Nailtiques (Formula #2)<<<<
I`ll try that..I have used products like this in the past and they did make
my nails somewhat more resistant to breakage...I was thinking more along the
line of some type of supplement I could take to make my nails just naturally
stronger.

I`m sure this has been covered a zillion times but my nails are so thin and
brittle they crack and break at the smallest bump on a hard object..They are
thin enough that before they are even a 1/4" long they are already curved
downward so they are parallel to the top of my finger..Any ideas on any
suppliments I can take to strengthen them?..Thank you very much!
OPI Nail Envy. They have several formulae and have one specifically for
brittle nails. I haven't tried that one (my nails aren't brittle, I've
used the Original formula and the Peeling nails one, and both are
great).
FWIW, I've used Nailtiques in the past (the #2 formula that was rec'd by
a nail tech), and I thought it was utter crap. Peeled off my nails
within two days, did nothing to strengthen them. as always, YMMV, but
for me it is Nail Envy all the way.

I have never found anything that works better than Nailtiques as did many many
of my clients over the years. However, every winner product doesn't work for
everyone.
That's why we have the YMMV acronym I guess. I've personally used Nailtiques
#2 since 1991 and still use it with great success and wonderful healthy nails.
I did have a few clients that swore by the OPI Nail Envy.

I'm late getting caught up here, but here goes: OPI Nail Envy. After an
unfortunate incident with a nail buffer thingie last year (those square
file things they were selling in the malls to smooth your nails), I
developed very thin nails, as in I thinned them down! I used Nail Envy
and it helped a lot. I've continued to use it and my nails are in good
shape now. Supplements are good, but the nail treatments are more
immediate.
Also, when I went on a low carb higher protein diet, I found a big
improvement in my nails.
Good luck!
