This is what I do:
1– Shower before shaving.
2– As I wash my face in shower, let the lather sit on my face for a bit.
3– I like using a mug and shave soap (C–M Sandalwood)
4– Strop straight razor (C&E 5.25" Solingen)
5– Shave with the grain on the 1st pass, against on the 2nd pass.
6– Rinse
