I've been watching "What not to wear" TV show and I consider myself
lacking
lots of advice in the way I dress. I get often frustrated coz it's
difficult
to find nice clothes my size. I'm petite and sometimes the S sizes don't
fit
me right (I'm 5'1"), I just feel like giving up and learn how to sew to be
able to wear some decent clothes. Appreciate any input.
Dana has something like this. Maybe she will see this post.

Yep, Dana's seen this post. Dana will now stop referring to herself in
the third person.
My image consultant is named Diane Harris. She lives in Winston–Salem,
North Carolina, but flies all over the country. She consults with TV
stations (I found her by calling the Indianapolis CBS affiliate), and
all sorts of other folks –– she helped turn a bubba from Arkansas into a
viable presidential candidate, and she's currently working with the cast
of American Idol.
Diane is *NOT* cheap. I consider it worth it, but then, I'm
increasingly in the public eye; being able to dress well is very much a
business factor for me. For my money I getthe secure feeling that I
never have to panic when I'm asked to be on TV, or make a public
appearance, or whatever. I also save *endless* time –– in one day I get
a full working wardrobe for the season. Everything fits (except for
some sleeves and pants needing to be taken up –– I'm short, too),
everything's a good color, everything mixes and matches. I never have
to return anything.
She's also revamped my makeup and hair; they're far better now than they
were BD (before Diane.) I also like to think that I'm better at
choosing things for myself now.
I'll be seeing her again on the 22nd of September; I'm definitely
looking forward to it!

I'm looking for someone in Montreal, QC, Canada ;O)
Good to know you're getting help in that department and that you're really
happy about it, I sure hope I find some kind of advice too. I don't know
what to do with my hair and my face either (make–up). There's only one word
I say when I walk up to a hairdresser: layer. I'm kinda sick of cutting my
hair that way and everyone keeps telling me how beautiful my hair is but I
don't have a clue on what to do with it..
