I've been looking forward to this show. I think it will be a laugh,
informative, entertaining, probably will make me gasp, but what they hey,
I'm in. Just watched Breast Men the other night and that was a riot.

This SouthBeach–based show may make you swear off ever having plastic
surgery. There has been a lot of coverage and descriptions of the fast
and loose docs in the show, and it's rather gruesome, but fascinating,
too. Over–the–top Miami weirdness, with blood and botox and
liposuction tubes squirting liquified bloody fat all over. Not for the
squeamish. It starts at 10 P.M.

You would have never survived growing up as a doctor's daughter. We got to
see all kinds of stuff when we'd stop at car accidents to help people, even
an airplane crash and helping in the mission fields where people got in
machete fights. I even helped my dad when he'd do minor surgeries in the
office. You get used to it.

They had a show on Discovery Channel –– botched face lifts. Yikes !!!!
Any doctor can perform plastic surgery. These are probably results of
physicians who never took a plastic surgery residency. You need to make
sure you check your PS's credentials.
For fun, I checked the credentials of a guy that was advertising for PS here
in Newport in the newspaper. Nada. No plastic surgery training. My guess
was right that this BIG advertiser had no training in PS.

Well, IMO, you didn't miss much. It was all about the problems the two
partners were having in their medical practice, trouble with the wife, the
child, argh, too harrowing to watch week after week. I don't want to watch
family problems. I kept switching between that, Queer Eye for the Straight
Guy and last, watched Dateline to see what they said about my man Kobe.
Queer Eye was great. I love those guys.

I thought the show was funny as could be, muy Miami. Loved the
creative use of hams.
If anyone thinks the gator/Miami connection was stretched (they are
all over, near canals) there was a story on the news this morning
about a lady who had an auto accident over the weekend, hitting a
9'gator. The Dade County paramedics left her at the scene (only a
sprained neck, I think) and transported the injured gator to Animal
Rescue in their ambulance!

I watched it just to stare at Julian McMahon, yum! That guy is pretty. ;O)
He was a big reason I got hooked on "Charmed", too. I thought the show was
ok, I'll probably check it out again next week.
