Lilly fans –– ever heard of Key West Fashions?

"Madolyn" <madolyn_cl...@hotmail.com>
I was at a preppy boutique today called Irresistibles in Belmont, MA, and
they had a lot of merchandise by a label called Key West. This line
featured Lilly Pulitzer look–alike prints in pants, dresses, and skirts. In
fact, they had a reversible wrap skirt very much like the Delia in that one
side was a patchwork print and the other side a single print. The prices
were in the under–$100 range at regular retail, and they were marked down
today.
I've seen the name Key West on vintage Lilly fabric auctions at eBay. I'm
wondering if Key West is the company that makes the Lilly prints, and
they've spun off their own line. Anyone familiar with this line?

They have this line here at the Belk's in the city I live in here in
Florida. They look almost just like Lilly, but a lot cheaper. Belk's
had a sale this weekend of additional 25% off what they already had
discounted. Thought about getting a few piece but decided not to
because we are going on vacation next week. I think they will carry the
line year round since this is Florida, even if it's north Florida.

I have been in their Key West store a number of times – lots of
variety, if you are interested in tropical florals. Decent quality
and workmanship. I have a couple of tops in rayon and they have served
me well. As to relationship with Lilly, I couldn't say.
they also sell their fabric by the yard for you seamstresses. I saw
many gals buying yardgoods for dec pillows etc.
