How to not damage my nails?

Dana Carpender <dcarp...@kiva.net>
Okay, after about a month with no polish, my nails seem to have
recovered and stopped splitting. I'm thinking I'll head out for a
much–needed manicure and pedicure. But I'd like to know, if anyone has
any idea ––
I was using one of those sponges–in–a–jar–with–a–hole–in–it to remove
polish. Is this harder on nails than simply using polish remover on
cotton? If I just get a bottle of non–acetone remover and some cotton,
am I likely to damage my nails less? I miss wearing polish, but my
nails really ended up trashed last time.

I don't think those type are harder on your nails, though I do think it's
worse
for my finger tips. I found they would dry out the area around my nail a
lot more. Using a non–acetone polish remover on a cotton ball is definitely
best.
And going for a while without polish now and then is *always* a good idea!
Let's your
nails breath and helps prevent fungal and other infections.
I also use Almay nail and cuticle wax every night too and my nails are
actually
growing naturally again. yeah!
