Re: what *movie* have you seen lately?

kayper <kar...@comcast.net>
Yesterday we caught "The Bachelor and the Bobbie–Soxer" on TCM. Cary
Grant does the best "Dick Van Dyke" impression I've ever seen! And I
swear, somebody wrote that last dinner club scene and it was so
brilliant they decided to write a movie around it. Doesn't matter,
though; Cary was pretty funny throughout most of it. kayper

last one in a theater–LBII
ones on dvd include how to lose a guy in 10 days ( cute but my SO hated it)
The Hours..... sooooooooooo depressing and NOT what you want to watch when
you have a migraine hitting!
some other forgettable stuff but Extreme Ops was good. Die Another Day was
good as a repeat......
SATC season 4. loved it!

And a well deserved rant; that very situaton has kept my from attending
"opening nights" of films for decades. Well, that and my bad luck of
always ending in a seat behind a tall person. kayper

An incredibly GOOD movie. That little girl (and the man who
portrayed her grandfather) can REALLY act!
