Being an etailer myself...I am curious how the merchant could have emailed
you
with your own cc#...they must not be using an SSL or their shopping cart is
not intelligent enough to strip the numbers. Most carts these days require
you
to log on through various steps to even get to the CC#. it would be worth the
research on your part to at the very least report this to the BBB. This is
not
safe business practices and it makes it look bad for the ones who are doing
their best to be honest and secure.
I never order from a site that doesn't indicate it's secure, so it definitely you
