I had cupping done yesterday for my shoulder and neck pain. So far I
feel better, although the bruises on my back are quite sore. Has
anyone had this done and how were the results? How long did it take
for the bruises to disappear?
TIA,
Emma :)
I have had it done. Cupping involves suction and it's sort of like a huge
hickey in a way.. (it's a bad analogy but it fits) Depending on your
personal issue and why it was done to that area... it should be lasting
about a week. It's really a YMMV situation. You need to tell your
accupuncturist about how long it lasted and about the bruising!

i'm having a session of 10 cuppings to be done, the bruising last
about a few days for me, then fades, i had a sciatic nerve injury from
work and physiotherapy was useless for it, 1 session of cupping
relieved the pain greatly, IMO the bruising is a very little hassle in
the grand scheme of the results to come!
