I have a recurring wart by a nail (not under) on my left hand. It is been
treated with liquid nitrogen three times since 1978; Compound W; and now
the
Dr. Scholl's little dots. It will NOT stay gone. Does anyone have any
suggestions short of having my finger amputated? Anyone else ever had
this
problem? I am soooooooo tired of this *thing*. My nails look nice then I
have
to slap something on the darned *thing* and all my work to get my natural
nails
strong and relatively attractive go down the tube.
Help, please!
Mary
Deal with any immune system issues you might have... I'm talking general
health stuff, diet, vitamins, exercise, teeth, any lingering infections.
That's gotta help. Sometimes warts disappear without treatment, because your
immune system took control.
The home remedy in my family is boracic powder, held on by a bandaid. Keep
the wart in constant contact with the boracic until it disappears, and then
some.
Or if you've a bit of a witchy pagan bent, get one of your friends to "buy"
the wart... seems like hogwash to me, but some folks swear by it.
