A simple purchase in France or Italy

caryper...@aol.comnospam (Caryperk39)
My 17 yr. old son is leaving on a European Tour with his Classmates, and I
can't miss this opportunity to have him bring home something good for his dear
mother.
But, I don't want to create a hassle for him either.
They will be in Paris, Rome, Venice & Lucerne. Is there something clearly
obvious, and easy, for me to have him bring me? It should be readily
available, since he is not likely to go in search of a CSP store in Paris. By
the way, price is no object, since he will charge it to my credit card, ha ha.
Can any of you frequent European travelers help me out with this important
dilemma???
Merci,
Cary

When I am in Italy I look for leather, a wallet, key case or bracelet.
The colors are breathtaking and the prices are great.

How about Annick Goutal perfume? There is an Annick Goutal shop right in
front of the St. Sulpice church on the Left Bank in Paris. It's on the
tourist trail so he won't miss it. Or perhaps he should go to the Galeries
Lafayette – huge department store near the Opera in Paris. He can get most
perfumes over there.
Or perhaps a new handbag? Dior? Hermes? They have a "shop in a shop" in the
Galeries Lafayette.

Either purchase a real designer silk scarf, perhaps a hermes or maybe a copy
version from the 'lucky lucky' people that are every where, esp in venice and
rome.
