"Nubra" at Saks – the strapless backless bra

jr_...@hotmail.com (Jennifer R.)
http://tinyurl.com/henc or there is a link from the saks main page.
Has anybody seen or tried one of these on? As someone who definitely
cannot go braless, but would like to buy more dresses with lower backs
than strapless bras allow, the concept of the Nubra makes my heart go
pitter–patter.
My logical brain is looking at it asking, "How the hell can it be
backless, yet have a front–snap closure, and have no side adhesive,
yet stick to you" ??? Maybe it has glue in the cups? But it says it
can be worn 100 times and is washable.. what the hell? Hopefully one
of you can shed some light.

Can't answer any of your questions but I think it's hilarious that the model
isn't even *wearing* the bra...it's Photoshoped on!

And a poor job of it too!

What gives it away? The weird shadows on the right?
Yup – the shadows on the right *cup*, the fact that the item appears to be
'floating' in front of her and that the skin is not 'pressed' anywhere –
pretty bad job all in all but I would love to know if it works regardless so
if someone *has* tried one of these, let us know!

Neiman's sells it too, so it must be good.
I want one of those Le Mystere Dream Tisha bras and believe it or not
Amazon.com sells them, but so does Neiman's and Nordstroms. Their site is
www.lemystere.com .

1: What is NuBra ?
A: NuBra features two soft silicone gel bra cups with an adhesive
backing, plus a front closure.

Yes, the adhesive is inside the fully–lined cups ... have you ever had one
of those adhesive rollers which are used for removing lint and animal hairs
from your clothing? It's the same premise. The adhesive remains active for
hundreds of re–uses. I'm sure that's why they only want you to wash it by
hand in warm water.
To answer your question before you ask it, "no" I have never worn one
myself. LOL.

The MUA fashion board had a discussion on this. :) Just do a search
for "nubra" on the board.

I was reading about these on MUA. Some of the girls had tried them.
They're sort of sticky on the inside so they adhere to your skin.
Evidently, they offer very little support (surprise!) so they're best on
those who are a or small b cups.

I am getting one of those Le Mystere Dream Tisha bras. They sell them at
Neiman's and Nordstroms, but amazingly enough they also sell them on
Amazon.com .
