I'm giving up on perfume.

cm...@aboutdominion.com (Lola)
There is something wrong with me. I must have smelled 50 or more
perfumes in the last few months looking for the perfect scent. Not
only have I not found the perfect scent I can't find any that I like
at all. Most perfumes give me a headache and they all seem to remind
me of cheap deoderant soap.

This is unfortunate, but not uncommon. Many people have adverse
reactions to fragrances, even if worn by someone else across the
room. Look at it as a way to save a lot of money! ;=) kayper

A ... er ... drop in the bucket. There are hundreds; maybe thousands.
Give your nose a holiday until a perfumer's trunk show comes to town.
Something like Guerlain. Then you can consult with a professional.
Alternate plan: go to a toy store, buy a perfume play kit, and concoct
your own. (cheaper than serious essential–oil–type perfumery, and fun)

What would you *like* a perfume to smell like? I happen to love certain
flowers and I almost always gravitate toward traditional, non–spicy floral
scents. A lot of people love citrusy smells. Some people love
vanilla–based scents. Instead of trying a snoutful of every perfume out
there––there are too many and you will o.d. on them––maybe you should start
from your personal preference and try to narrow it down before you sample
scents.

mid–winter and still delights in its white floral fragrance.
