My pants zipper flap opens on the wrong side. What does this mean?

They are Ferre pants (Italian); 35/32. IS this a Euro thing? An
irregular? Woman's pants? Bought them new with tags on eBay. (The
waist button ison the wrong side, too.)

Women's pants, dude. Grab one of your girlfriend's blouses and try to put
it on some time. Women's clothing buttons from the other direction. Just
think how confusing life as a crossdresser must be, lol.
