I need advice on men's jeans and finding some that fit!

ALWAYSLONE...@HOTMAIL.COM (Danny)
I am male in my 30's. I am 6 feet tall and 198 lbs. I have very toned
legs and butt but have a little bit of a belly. (Well, more than a
little I guess).
I currently wear Levi's 34/30. Which is comfortable in the waist. (I
even have to wear a belt) but way too baggy in the butt and legs. I
would like to find something that is tight in the but but loses in the
waist if that makes sense. I would like denim and black.
Does anyone out there have any suggestions on how I could pull this
off?

Have you tried Levi 512's? The legs are tapered so the
seat and thigh fit more snug than 501's or 505's.

I think you're heading in the wrong direction. From what you have
said you are one of those guys who puts on weight all above the waist.
If you wear a pair of jeans that hits you below the waistline and is
snug in the butt–––which is what would feel right to you–––it's going
to make your stomach look enormous. You need relaxed–fit or loose–fit
jeans so that your stomach isn't emphasised. Those are 550s and 560s.
To wear 512s and look good in them my back–of–the–envelope
calculation shows you would have to lose 35 pounds.

BTD: Excellent advice. Otherwise buy low riders and have a tailor sew in
suspender buttons. A red pair with a Caterpillar or Peterbilt hat would make
nice accessories!
