Grrr. Argh. I'm on a mission to upgrade my wardrobe after ten years
of wearing essentially the same things. There's just one problem: No
one has pants that fit me.
My size is 29 waist, 34 length. The closest I can come is usually
30x32. The 32 length doesn't work, everything I wear looks like
highwaters. There's 32x34 but that just looks all scrunchy from the
belt. Sometimes I can luck out if a particular design is a little
longer or a little narrower than it's supposed to be, but in general
when shopping I just can't find what I need. I even look online to
see if there's a wider selection of sizes, but that doesn't help
either (well, the Gap sometimes has 30x34, but I usually don't like
their pants).
Am I the only person in the United States with this problem? Is there
seriously no market for pants in my size? Or do I have to ask a
tailor to take in my jeans?
